Autism documentaries

It baffles me why recent Autism documentaries on tv e.g (Christine McGuinness documentary)only seem to touch the surface on the subject. It never touches on the complexity of the condition. Also not highlighting late diagnosis in life etc

This wasn’t ‘an autism documentary’, it was a documentary about someone who is autistic, some of the things they struggle with, and how they now able to use their status to try and bring awareness to others.
