Recently I started to cut shapes out of plastic stationary folders. If a shape came to mind or I saw a shape I liked then I would cut it. I have a cheap 99p plastic tray. I placed some of the shapes on and started sliding them around until the layout felt good. I photographed the result then tipped the shapes back into the container.
