DVD Cases... Or... DVD Wallets?

So,

You can buy special cases with wallets in them to put your DVDS in, then get rid of the normal cases they came in, to save space.

Would you rather them with original case or in the wallets?

I started getting the wallets but here's the thing.

My OCD is kicking off big time LMAO and now I really want them to go in their proper cases because it doesn't feel right... I'm sure that makes sense...

Trouble is my Mum has binned the cases. I did put them to one side but she totally Mum'd my room and cleared away and binned lots of the things I actually wanted to keep LOL!

So I'll likely need to sell the DVDS and then purchase them all again, with, their cases.

I'm not currently watching anything...

But... I hope I will again one day so I want them all ready for me.

  • I've always kept my cases. It's partly to do with wanting the bookshelf effect. And liking the art, the spines, the memory of the day I got it etc. But primarily - in the case of my Doctor Who stuff- to do with physically representing the proper chronology of the expanded continuity. If a particular run of audio/CD stories or some books  happen(s) between story/DVD X and story/DVD Y, then the only way to 'show my working out' so to speak (and keep myself right as my memory gets worse) is to have the individual DVDs, blu-rays etc. arranged across a generous amount of Billy Bookcase space and slot those books and CDs in between.

  • Do you own a lot of Doctor Who stuff?

I own some of the classic-Who. Not much.

    But some.

I own a lot of Doctor Who clothing. I've dressed as them lots, to Mum's horror lol.

It's one of my special interest so I collect as much as I can of it.
