Once a friend of mine told a joke. Everyone laughed so I did too although I didn’t understand it. About 2 years later I burst out laughing as I suddenly realised what it meant.

I put on my blog recently that I had to "wind" my nephew (twelve weeks old now), and my American readers thought it was hilarious. Apparently they don't say that there.
