Radio 4 programme - Autism being discussed in the programme "Antisocial"

Just listened to it on catch-up, Martin is right, the autistic people ran rings around the so called professional. We have got to stop romanticising autism.!

The programme series is called "Antisocial" in the same way that "Panorama" or "Tomorrow's World" are names of programmes.

The topic of this episode of Antisocial, is Autism.

didnt watch it, but if they used the term anti-social i understand what they are on about but they have used the wrong word as the correct word is a-social.... anti-social is the chav thing which is actually very social lol

I thought that the autistic woman spoke much more fluently than the 'so-called autism expert' man. Also she made a great deal more sense. The expert's opinions made me quite angry from time to time.

In particular, the expert's negativity to the concept of neurodiversity seemed particularly perverse, I think that that boat sailed a long time ago.
