Do you ever dream ?

I'm just sitting here on the couch at home. I must have dozed off and was thinking i'd gone to have a haircut. The barber was cutting someone elses hair, and i was the only one waiting, until an old man came in and sat next next to me. We spoke to each other for a few minutes, just passing the time of day. When the barber finished his customer and was getting paid, he looked over to me and pointed to the barbers chair. I said to the old man 'my turn', i stood up and took two steps across the room before i realised i was in my own lounge, i turned around to look at the old man i'd been talking to, and he wasn't there.

  • I can go for ages without dreaming, or at least being unable to remember the details of any dreams I might have had by the time I have awoken. However, when I am capable of remembering the details, they can cause me to think, "What the heck was that all about?" due to seeming so utterly bizarre and nonsensical.

Yesterday, I had awoken from what I considered to be a bonkers dream. It was WWII, but set in the present day, and Britain was being invaded. At one point in the dream, I was in a rather grand and luxurious house, where a party was taking place in one of the rooms during the daytime. The curtains had been closed so that we wouldn't be seen by the invaders who were gathering outside. However, nobody had stopped to consider that blasting out music probably wasn't the wisest of ideas. Wink

I'm inclined to agree with Simon and say your dream does sound somewhat ghostly. Ghost

  • His dream at first somewhat ghostly

Turned a whiter shade of pale.

  • Listen to this with some good earphones, full orchestra and Procal Harum, unfortunately Gary Brooker died last year, this composition will blow you away. It’s a YouTube song that I often escape to. It’s based on a Bach composition.
