if I can stop falling through the snow and freezing to death!
Not sure if you know this but if you wear leather boots then you can walk on powder snow. Although I keep forgetting to bring some and have to dig my way out.
I managed to grab a screenshot - me flying away from some sky islands I'm working on. I've been a bit all over the place in my Minecraft realm this week. Doing a bit here and a bit there. That's quite unusual for me as I'm normally hyper focused on whichever project I'm working on!
Minecraft is my favourite game! I have a realm which is almost 3 years old now - my daughter and granddaughter play along side me as well as a friend. If I'm not playing Minecraft I'm watching content creators on YouTube. I can't find any recent pictures of my builds so here's an old one!
I'm currently working on a fantasy village which sits in a green valley below an ice capped mountain. The mountain will eventually have an ice castle on it - if I can stop falling through the snow and freezing to death!

I'm not very good at Minecraft but I play it loads. here are some pictures from my current world that I started in January 2022.
This was my previous base (or part of it). I don't have a good picture of it. It was my biggest base so far with lots of buildings and it extends very far underground with tunnels going in all directions.

Here is an aerial shot of this base during construction with an above ground road that goes to my previous base:

The road goes to my 2nd base which is here:

My current base is under a very long underground tunnel with a railway which terminates underground in a different biome. I don't have any pictures of it.
Here is of my bridges under construction. It goes over a dark oak forest to an earlier beach base of mine:

I also just love exploring in this game! Exploring in nature one of the things I like doing in the real world, but it's not always easy to go off climbing mountains, but in Minecraft it's easy. And I actually think the blocky graphics are pretty.

That sounds cool. I get carried away with gaming as well, an hour quickly becomes 6 hours and eye strain sets in shortly after.
Great game though and it is definitely addictive. My brother and I used to play it daily for the majority of the day. We never got bored with it.
I find most games addictive
I dare not play this ever again. It is like super addictive. I had a server and a bunch of friends that would play on it with me. But I was spending like 10 hours a day on it and it had to go. It was on the same level as my Skyrim or Fallout addictions.
I love Minecraft! The game graphics are so retro but modern, and, with the never ending generating world properties it's almost an endless game. I love it, especially the building aspect of the game.

I'm fairly new here, and Minecraft has me hooked in its own charming way. Unlike some epic automated farms, my jam is all about creating these quaint, realistic settlements. Picture log cabins, rural vibes, the whole nine yards. I like to add a dash of mystery with hidden elements, making each spot a bit more than meets the eye. Living that miner and farmer life in survival mode, with a sprinkle of exploration and trading.
Being autistic is not a requirement for playing MC. Many people love it. I tried to play about 7 years ago, and I just couldn’t get it. I was too slow. I couldn’t remember the controls. I got frustrated and stopped right away.
it was in 2020 that I tried again, with my daughters help. Slowly I got the feel of it, but it took a while.
Being happy to mine is where I find myself sometimes on the game. I’ll come off after one more block, okay one more, well I may as well finish the layer since I’m here. I’ll make it symmetrical, then I’ll come off…
Hours spent like this.
I haven’t played in months, yet I did pop on yesterday as I’d had the laptop on for something else and wanted to see if it needed updating.I didn’t stop long. Found a massive cave, which was too deep and dark and scary, and I just didn’t have the time to explore it.
I think I prefer to play in my daughters world, but it’s difficult to be online at the same time what with her college, and work, and mine. I am easily pleased with a pick axe, and being sent to mine lol, although I can and do get absorbed in all aspects.
