A classic english winter weather - neverending full overcast, drizzle and gusts of wind of various intensities.
New Year's Eve was different. While smoking outside I noticed something else, and I'm not sure if it eluded me so far or it is always like that. It's just I stopped to notice it today.
While drizzling constantly there were sudden, regular, and strong gusts of wind making the rain move sideways during it, than going back to falling down normally. 2 seconds down, 2 seconds sideways, in neverending repeating pattern.
It looked like as if there were invisible steps in the air and water was flowing down over them. It captivated my attention for quite some time. Watching the pattern to repeat in cycles was eerily hypnotic. Hello Alice again.
