What are you doing tonight? Do you stay up until midnight?
I used to stay up until the early hours after midnight but haven't for a few years. I'll probably watch some films and go to bed, probably about 10 maybe a little after.
Downside to tonight is that people do fireworks and they last all night. I'm not sure about everyone else but fireworks are way too noisy for my liking, there should be a law against it after 9pm lol.
I'm looking forward to 2023 - I'm hoping it will be a good year and some positive things will happen, hopefully for all of us :)

Love board games. I used to have lots of different versions of Monopoly, used to play those on New Years Day.
Ooo nice that sound fun! I've not done a jigsaw in like years, used to love doing them with my mum:)

Going out to busy places on New Years Eve (or any other night for that matter) has never been appealing to me.
I'll be following my usual NYE routine of visiting my mum. We'll stay up until midnight and enjoy some nice snacks and one drink to toast the new year in.
If anyone lets off fireworks nearby I'll try to watch them through the window. I find that I can tolerate the noise of fireworks a little better if I can see them as well as hear them.
We have friends round for board games and food. It should be nice actually. I’ve had a few days away from socialising, so have charged my social battery a bit in preparation. Not looking forward to the fireworks, but at least I’m not going out!

Now the chores are done getting a new jigsaw out to start today. I am not intending to be up late. Hope to get some sleep before the fireworks start.
This morning collected 2 loaves of bread from the cheese shop. Told them no rolls as weren't on the order.
May watch some films before bedtime. Fireworks are too noisy for me and drunken people. Weather is raining, so may put people off going out.
2023 looking forward going to events with estuary ladies group.
Stocking up on essential items, puzzle books and colouring books. The reason: China opened there borders now which maybe not a good idea. Countries want the Chinese to produce a negative covid result, 48 hours before travel. Think will be a repeat performance like in 2020.
Pity about the regular GP called it a day.
