Today I took a big step and got an application form for volunteering in a charity shop. I've made it clear I'll only do a few hours one day a week and the lady said she was ok with that so I'm pleased with that and am really excited about this. It could be a really positive thing for me :) has anyone ever done volunteering? Just wondering if you have any tips for me I'm very excited. It'll be nice to get out and do something even if it is just once a week, and, it'll feel good doing stuff for charity :)

  • That's great! I did volunteering in a charity shop and it was actually a really great experience. I shadowed people at the till so it was less of a customer service role, and mostly spent time sorting through donations and steam cleaning clothes (very satisfying).
