One of my sons anxiety relates to his bladder, not being able to pass water without anxiety.
We did do to the GP when he was 16 ish, and I'm sure he did all the physical tests and then gave him such instructions about sitting on loo rather than standing, my son started to do that and has continued to now. He is 30 and he still suffers with it.
In the meantime he has gone through 13 years of hell at the hands of the MH system and hospital traumas and drug traumas, as well as missing home for long periods and life.
He still suffers from the stressed bladder.
He has been off the drugs for 4 weeks only and facing all sorts of truama in his mind as well as the mind itself trying to adjust from complications of long term meds.
Has anyone tried Beta Blockers, my son did around his 16th year and said they helped, but didn't continue for some reason, I can't remember why? Appreciate any comments.
