ANXIETY AND PARONIA HOW BIG DOES IT GET WITH AUSTISM

This is massive in my son right now with coming off antipsychotic drugs that seem to repress everyything, now hes dealing with it big style.

So does anyone have experience of extreme OCD with pararoia and how to challenge and deal with it, or if anyone is facing or has faced what my son is right now all the better.

Anxiety is a problem for the vast majority of autistics, but psychoses are not all that common, at around 3 in 100 autistic people having a psychotic episode. However, extreme anxiety can look like paranoia, depending on the particular circumstances.

yesm thanks for that. My son's current CPN is following the anxiety route and trying to reign in some CBT when hes ready and setting aside psychosis, pity that wasnt done years ago before all the drugs!
