Has this happened to you or anyone you know? these are extremely strong drugs that confused my sons brilliant mind and slowed down thinking, blocked memory and make jim a rambling wreck that needed support with loads of things and still does. How long after stopping does it take for the vrain to sort it self out after stopping.
The meds were stopped slowly but probably not slow enough. We did try to go back on the low dose again, but this just made aggitation, which these med created by going on them originally 13 years ago. The pattern was Confusion, aggitation and agression. It has caused my son to seem like he has learning difficulties which he never did, he was a perfectly fine high functioning Autistic teen, who got caught up with mental health system and judged completely wrongly due to his OCD and anxiety. Be greatful if anyone knows of anyone who has had our situaion, we are four weeks in to coming off meds and speech and thinking is still very blocked.
