Classical music is my first love of music. My mother used to play it all the time and the first time I heard this song, (Ave Maria by Elly Ameling). This always makes me cry, it reminds me of my mother and it's a deeply moving piece of music. My friends laugh at me for listening to classical music, I was bullied at college, but I'll always love it no matter what.
I’m glad you never yielded to peer pressure on that one. What nourishes the souls will long outlast anything that temporary fellow travellers feel they ‘should’ be into.
