I liked both of them - and I liked all of the gay ones like Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Culture Club, Wham, Communards/Bronksi Beat - I fancied Morten Harket and the blond one from A-Ha like mad - even to this day, I’m still attracted to blond and ginger guys 

Were you a Spandau Ballet or Duran Duran person then? I prefer Duran Duran, as I find Spandau Ballet a bit too bland.

Being a teenager during the 80’s this was the best era in music, leaving aside some of the clothes and fashions such as the “New Romantics” etc

I was born in 1980 and have a huge taste in genres, this is due to two reasons:

1. I grew up with a father who loved collecting records from all over the world.

2. My sister was literally obsessed with 80s, Queen, A-Ha, Pet Shop Boys, New Order etc.
