Simple Things I Can't Do

There's a lot of things I can't do no matter how hard I try. Most of them are simple things that other people find easy. Looking back thru my childhood I see it was there and it's the same now I'm an adult. . . I put it down to my autism. I can't grip things like cups or pens I drop them when I try. I find walking hard work and fall over a lot I have to go at tortoise speed most. I find drinking and eating hard I always feel I'll choke. There's a lot more but these are the main simple things I'm unable to do.

Just so weird. You can imagine how embarrassing it is when in the shops I try to pick something off the shelf and then drop it and then drop it again.

  • It could also be a sensory issue, as in not being to sense the right amount of pressure to hold onto something. I drop something usually at least once a day, and also bang doors too hard because I don't get the pressure right.  When I was young, my family refered to me as Mr Bump because of the number of trips and falls I had. I still trip but I've gotten much better at catching myself.
