Hello, just joined this group. i have a friend who i am fairly sure has Asperger's. He doesn't interact well with other people and most of his friends have given up on him, i am the only person he has any contact with these days. He seems to lack self awareness a great deal.
another friend was diagnosed some years ago, so i do have some experience of AS, which is why i think my friend has something similar, he's a 50 yo male.
I know i can't force him to get help but does anyone have any suggestions as to how he might be encouraged to seek help/a diagnosis?
My other friend said that when he was diagnosed he felt a huge sense of relief as he could make sense of his life.
