Just wondering if any of you have tattoos, if so what of? Any healing tips would be great too
I got my first today which was very exciting. honestly the thought of being in a random person's company for 2 hours was far more daunting than the actual tattoo.

I have a 1/2-3/4 custom back piece of my family surrounded by the end of the world. It has a few Nordic runes. Lots of symbolism lol. It took about 14 hours to do over 3 sessions. I was so nervous about going I ended up researching everything about tattooing, from it's origins to all the different techniques and styles.
For the care routine, it was two days of the plastic taped on while sleeping. Washing three times a day with antibacterial soap. And leaving it to air dry as much as possible.
After showering pat dry with kitchen towel and apply bepanthen (the nappy rash cream) in a thin(ish) layer. After a week I moved to just twice a day washing gently and applying the cream. Sometimes it gets really itchy, so I just applied more cream lol.
All in all it seemed to work. The peeling stage is very hard to fight wanting to remove them.
