Autism Show

Hi, I guess this is particularly for parents and carers but it seems to fit here.

Anyone else booked for the Autism Show at ExCel on 24th and 25th June? I am going morning of 24th, will have to leave by 1.00 pm or possibly earlier - would love to have an NAS community meet, maybe meeting up for coffee in the morning? (I'm sure we can find a focal point to meet up at).

If a number of people want to meet up, we can exchange mobile numbers and I can text people with a meeting place and time.

    As I mentioned in your private messages discussion, sharing personal details can't currently take place through the Community, frustrating as I know that may be.

    If people were attending I'm sure you could try to arrange a public place to meet, we have to be realistic that people will attend the same events so as long as people are careful we wouldn't stop people meeting. We'd naturally advise people not to share personal details if you aren't comfortable if you meet in public.

    You should also be aware that if you did arrange to meet it should be somewhere public and please bear that in mind that anyone reading the Community would be able to see what you'd arranged - so do bear that in mind when meeting.

    Oh and I and some of the other people working at the NAS will be hosting a stand promoting the Community and membership, do see if you can find us to say hi :)
