Favourite songs?

Do you have any favourite songs? 

I have to be in the right mood for music. With music there's so much going on like so much noise and so many instruments going on in the background I seem to notice everything in a song I think it's part of the ASD and how I over analyse this. Anyway lately I've been enjoying Fast Car by Tracy Chapman. I like her voice and the softness of the guitar. I heard it on YouTube and thought it was a nice song. Another song that's my current favourite is Visiting Hours by Ed Sheeran which is a sad song but it kind of helps me connect to my sister and that brings me a comfort in a way.

I like music it can be relaxing and help me remember things and people. I find my music and favourite songs change a lot.

  • I listen to some songs over and over again, each time hearing new instruments / smaller elements of the song until I overwhelm myself by listening to it too much and don't listen to it for another few weeks again. Then rinse and repeat! My favourite band is without a doubt One Republic, with a great variety of songs fitting different musical traits. Recently I also discovered Sheppard who seem to be really underrated, and over the last week I have been listening to "I'm born to run" by American Authors over and over again.

    I am not like this when I am in school but back during the summer holidays I would stay up to 4-5am listening to the same couple of songs for over 3 hours!
