New member saying hello (with aspergers son aged 5)

Hi there

I'm Mum to my little boy aged 5 who has recently been diagnosed with what was put to me as ' high functioning autism / aspergers / complex learning difficulties). 

I've joined here to hopefully chat to others in similar situations and share ideas, coping strategies etc.

Particularlyy keen on meeting people in.local area in due course ( South Ribble).

    i live in Southend Essex Im afraid. 

    But my son has same diagnosis and is now 6.5 years.

    hows he doing at school or does he start sept? Mainstream or special school??

    If I can help let me know. 

    Not that I am much use, I have been posting for advice re my little one 2.5 years only today.
