Weekend Plans

I have family coming over this weekend which I'm not entirely looking forward to. The whole idea makes me anxious and they insist on talking to me and pestering me, I'm sure they know it upsets me but do it on purpose. Mon Dieu! I'm dreading this. I wish I could just hide under my bed or in the cabinet lol. Hopefully it won't be too bad and I won't get an anxiety attack or worse, burnout.

What is everyone else up to? Hopefully something better.

  • I hope it goes well for you and its not too overwhelming! i hate social events so i can imagine how tough that must be. Fortunatley i only have 3 people in my family apart from my wife and son so its not too bad

    Tomorrow I am having a crash day just to recover from a tough demanding week, maybe watch football on tv and feed the ducks

    Sunday im supposed to be playing cricket but dont feel up to it so might try and get out of it

    The area of North West Tyrone I visited on Monday is close to the region of Ireland which is saturated with Cricket Clubs; although, due to the Nature of Northern Ireland, is predominantly played by Protestants.

    Will Porterfield is from Donemana - or Dunamannagh, if you're Catholic - while Boyd Rankin is from Magheramason.

    But, if you're not feeling 100%, best not to play; tomorrow.

    I didnt know there were that many cricket clubs there. I always support Ireland at most sports as my family is from Kerry. Boyd Rankin was one of my favourite players and Will Porterfield is a wonderful batsman.

    I have been feeling very anxious about it today as I get very panicy about letting people down but I havnt even been able to get off the sofa this evening so i dont think id be able to play
