Hey! I'm new here. I have 2 autistic sons and they have both recently finished their education. Their and my choice. Jack is 20 and Sam is 18. They could go onto further education but the provision for additional needs in our area is pretty bad... Sadly, i am worried that both are going to miss the social element that comes from education settings - or Jack especially - he's so lonely 
does anyone know of any groups in or around Cambridgeshire? youth clubs / coffee mornings...?
I am also only just finding out about things that they are entitled to...direct payments... ESA / Universal Credit... this is all so new to me! The boys don't have the capacity to fill out forms and I am their appointee for their PIP entitlements....am I able to make claims for these things on their behalf...?
Any help or adivce would be so gratefully appreciated! I am desperately trying to make their lives as happy for them as is possible.
