Nosebleeds

I still feel ill.

This evening at 7:30 I started a nosebleed while brushing my teeth in the bathroom, it went on and on for half an hour, blood everywhere, basin, bath, floor, clothes.  My towels are covered in blood.  I must have lost a pint.

I have no idea why it started.  But now I'm afraid to sleep in case I flood my bedding with blood.

  • Might be worth a trip to the GP even if it hasn't immediately re-occurred, just checked the guidelines because it's been a few years since I've looked and they've moved the length of time from half an hour to 15 mins long to go see A&E. So if it happens again there's the moment to start looking to 111

As someone who got loads of nosebleeds and still does get them not infrequently, they're really not supposed to be that long, and that's a lot of blood. While generally not dangerous themselves, they're a good enough indicator that something's up when they're abnormal that it's worth getting it checked out
