Protest against disability cuts

I am sick with worry about the changes to adult social care, reassessments and possibility of losing vital support if I am assessed as moderate. I feel  angry, frustrated, stressed and uneasy. I went on a protest today against these disability cuts, outside county hall. I think that these cuts are a disgusting attack on those who already struggle with life. Humans are worth more than a price-tag, we have absolute and intrinsic rights that can't be violated by politicians. Justice and human rights are the highest court in the land, but these disability cuts are driven by cold, inhumane number-crunching. We need to cut now to protect future generations, so the politicians all say. But what about those people who are alive today, what about the need to protect us? Disabled people have the right to exist, to have a decent life, a job and relationships. But we need support to attain these things. A person with moderate needs still requires support and to say that their support should be taken away is a purely arbitrary calculation. I hope that the forces of justice and humanity wins through against this savagery.
