lost in meals

I'm actually lost in a work routine and can't leave my bad habits. I want to start a really healthy routine this time but the thing is I never find a dish for the evening. I love to cook but I get home late and tired so I eat reheated meals most of the time. So if anybody has even a little recipe for me it will be a real pleasure.

  • I can imagine that finishing late is the one time it's hardest to motivate oneself to start cooking, or preparing, food. So I suppose you'd want something that could be rustled up in a few minutes? Hopefully some people will have some good ideas. On my occasional late nights I succumb to takeaway temptation or I just end up eating something that doesn't need cooked - like a salad sanwich or something.

  • To save you having to start cooking when you get home, get yourself a slowcooker. You can cook almost anything in them. Swich it before going to bed and you've got a cooked breakfast ready for you getting up, or put  whatever food you fancy in it, in the morning and leave on all day. When you get home after work, your meal is cooked waiting for you.
