constant interrupting

we interrupt because we want to help to correct errors or add crucial omission

if we like someone more we interrupt more

and if we talk we can talk without end

So true!  I also find that I panic if the conversation quickly moves past some disclosure or inufficiently contextualised comment, and I can't focus on the next thing until what's suddenly filling up my entire mental bandwidth is addressed. It's worse if it's met with a 'does it matter? I'll tell you later'  or something, in say a conversation involving at least two other people. Like everyone seems to have the information I'm missing, or doesn't care about the totality of the thing in question, and I know I won't relax while I'm worrying I might also forget to pick up the thread later and then think of it again when the persons who can clarify aren't approachable out of the blue about it.
