Which way round do you display your books?

I'm talking about books stacked next to each other so the spine is vertical as opposed to on top of one another. I've realised if I put my books with the front cover upside down and facing left, the spine is easier to read. Ie the text reads from bottom to top rather than top to bottom. I find this much easier to read.

I wonder if it depends on what your first language is since some people read right to left,  some read left to right. I wonder if it depends if you're right or left handed?

I have read spines can be printed ascending or descending with one you have to *** your head left, the other, right.

  • That's interesting but not sure I could cope with them appearing to be upside down. I too struggle with untidy books, I hate looking at books where some are sideways on top. It makes my mind feel too busy.
