Naming A ‘Business’

If you are naming a business, the Companies House has a list of terms that you may not use, or only use with permission. So you may not call it "The Royal Institute of Neurodivergence" for example. Certain titles are protected, e.g. social worker, nurse, psychologist. But that still leaves a huge range of titles and names you are allowed to use.  Avoid book and film titles for copyright reasons.  Be imaginative (yes, I know..) and Good luck!

True.  There is a graveyard of uncreated and unnameable personal projects, don't visit though its awful.

Just as well the Google idea left the minds of Larry and Sergey, and also named - the world would be stuffed, no way of searching for names for things, or find websites to outsource things, and many other things.

If jk Rowling is cited as a good example of anything then I dont want to be part of that discussion...however she didn't begin the process by asking the public to find a title for something that wast even written

You are lucky that you never used Mud Bloods as opposed to Muggles as a name, we would both be in trouble then! 

J.K. Rowling ran out of spoons too, and asked us what to call the Harry Potter books, so we said "Harry Potter and the..." and she went with it, so that was good.

The trap was set and we felleth in.:X

All three are great, but "The neurodivergent dungeon of parenting" is on fire IMHO.

There used to be someone on the forum who's "name" was "Never going to be Neurtypical". Which I always thought would be cool on a T-Shirt. You could use something like that, perhaps copy NAS and go with NGTBN!

I love thinking up names but then I mess about with the way the words are like a pun or something autism, spectrum, neurotypical = A typical spectrum, covers all bases an makes me laugh

not so much looking for it to come up on a popular google search term, it’s more for group ownership. Each site would say it’s made by the parent site, and then people could visit the parent site to browse all the other ones. So the only criteria really is it’s sensible and won’t be confused with an existing business.

Try the following site (or google for other domain name generators), put in autism related words and see what comes up:

It will give you a range of names so you might see one that fits, if not try different autism related words.

You can then go to a domain name seller and try and search for a domain name using that name, see whats available to buy.

I'm sure if you google you can find what are the most popular names with search engines. What do people acrually type in when looking for something
