Hello, how exactly do people get more up to date/ more accurate reports/evidence for a child that was discharged from Child Development in 2019? Camhs wouldn't accept doctors referral and suggest early help assessment or a social worker, which apperently we don't qualify for because there are no financial concerns or concerns for our children's welfare, everywhere I turn I hit a brick wall and people just send things to read, we need more than that. Our child is 9 and diagnosed ASD in 2019 , we were ok then we coped with anything but as our childs getting older (now 9) things are be coming more of a struggle, particularly sensory issues are now far greater than they were during our CDC days, school is a massive struggle, below average in every subject but reading. Struggles with anxiety especially around school. Seen no improvement with school in the last 5 years, recently been denied an ehcp assessment, school were very little help towards the gathering information stage, so going to mediation for that. I'm hoping a doctors appointment will lead to a Ocupational therapist referral but where else can i get help to help our child/ show evidemce of the struggles please.
