Does anyone else really enjoy watching sitcoms on TV? I don't really like drama programmes as they tend to be quite depressing and the real world can be depressing enough.
Comedies help me escape from the world and I can watch my favourite ones over and over again

Just wondered what everyone else's favourite comedies are?

I also really identify with some comedy characters and find they really comfort me, particulary Jess from New Girl and Erin from The Office

  • So many good examples being given here! We have Friends and Only Fools on constantly in our house so I'm used to overhearing those! Personally, I can recommend Community or a new highlight, The Good Place. But I'm honestly also a big Fry and Laurie fan - that tends to catch people by surprise given my age!
