Does anyone else really enjoy watching sitcoms on TV? I don't really like drama programmes as they tend to be quite depressing and the real world can be depressing enough.
Comedies help me escape from the world and I can watch my favourite ones over and over again

Just wondered what everyone else's favourite comedies are?

How I Met Your Mother

Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps

I also really identify with some comedy characters and find they really comfort me, particulary Jess from New Girl and Erin from The Office

  • I agree re drama, most modern drama is depressing.

    I have been working through old comedies on I player. Not many newer ones I like except Not going out and Miranda. I usually watch one episode before going to bed in the hope I am ready to switch off when I go to bed.

    All the depressing things recently added to being anxious over any things not in the usual routine make it more difficult to get to sleep.
