assessment taken place awaiting feedback any advice?

my daughter has now had her assessment although will have to wait around 5 weeks or so to find out if she has a diagnosis. Can anyone share there experience on this, is it possible I may get a call before then to tell me what the outcome was and then given a date for the detailed feedback or do I just have to sit it out waiting for 5 weeks ?

Thanks Dawn, it was only yesterday and I didn't think too much about it but now the overthinking is creeping in.

oh that really is a long time.. but thankfully you're through that stage. I'm hoping its more like 2 weeks than 5.Thanks for replying.

5 weeks. Blimey. That's quite a wait. Bless you. I had mine on the day. All I can say is try and not to think about too much.

I waited about 7 weeks from the last part of the assessment for an appointment to get the outcome. I was given the decision and some feedback at that appointment and the waited about another 6 weeks to get a copy of the report but that was probably because it was over Christmas and I’d had my appointment virtually,
