The loss of my cousin...

On the day I wrote this, the 20th of February 2022, it was the first anniversary of my cousin, Emma Simkin's death. She was a very kind and courageous person who would support you regardless of what you were going through. She was born in 1996 and loved running, debates (which she'd always win) and Ragdoll Productions (Brum, Teletubbies, Rosie & Jim, Tots TV etc). Throughout the later years of her life, she suffered through severe mental health issues, namely schizophrenia. She was immensely psychotic, so much so that no one was permitted to go into her room, including those she lived with.

It was on the 20th of February 2021 that she took her life. Her funeral took place on the 13th of March 2021 in the Sun Rising Natural Burial Ground in Warwick. Rest in peace Emma, until we meet again.
