  • ah i only learned how to swim in my late 20s myself. picked it up pretty fast and could swim in a single lesson. having one teacher just focus on you makes big difference, could never learn to swim in primary school swim lessons as they had like 30 kids to teach at once and they cant really make sure they teach anyone that way, all other kids must have cheated and learnt outside of school too where as i never did. anyways was easy enough with a teacher focusing on teaching you and explaining the physics behind it. basically you just keep your lungs blown up by keeping a inhaled breath for bouyancy, that way your body can just float anyway, wwith your body being a natural float everything else is easy.

motorcycle license will be hard though as it is the hardest of all vehicle tests due to the cbt, plus they made requirements very picky now, pickier than when i got my license. when i did it it was the cbt that was impossible to get through as even if you was good enough they kept failing you to get more money off you as you needed to pay a few hundred quid for every cbt lesson so they failed you to keep taking your money none stop when i went to another place they told me i was good enough to even pass the advanced lessons by that stage lol

  • I'm not the only one! What a relief lol always feels embarrassing even though it's a normal thing for a lot of people. It's cool you learnt to swim. I will at some point..... but I'm not sure when. Definitely before I'm 30 lol if I find the time and can control my anxiety. Last time I tried getting in a swimming pool I had an anxiety attack v embarrassing for me. Not sure if it was the thought of getting in the water or if it was the large groups of people in the water. I don't do well with big groups Rolling eyes

Is that a fact I didn't know that?? That's annoying lol to know. I thought a motorcycle license would be the easiest for some reason. Might take that off my list lol too much pressure otherwise. Learning to drive was bad enough!
