World book day

My child hates wearing dressing up clothes as its not what's worn every day. My child has no issues with other clothes, in fact loves getting dressed up fancy in normal clothes.

When I try putting on costumes my child will take them off and say no. 

What could I dress my son in for world book day?

  • Maybe he could just go as himself, that way he still feels like he's participating and it shouldn't distress him. When I was at school and we had things like this I asked my teacher if I could go as normal and she was fine with that. Or maybe ask who he wants to go as, create a list with him and help him decide.
