Hello, first timer here.
My son has Autism and is 14 years old. He is in a specialist school.
He is highly intelligent but socially behind.
We had a recent call from school that he was found in the toilets kissing/touching with one of his friends. According to the staff member they believe this was consensual from both boys involved.
I have no problem with him having a boyfriend and at this age of course he's curious and wants to try things but my concern is if he is being coerced into this or vice versa, or doesn't quite understand consent etc.
We've spoken about sex and appropriate behaviour before but now he is actively doing things I feel we need to talk again.
He's extremely private and I don't want to embarass him or upset him so has anyone dealt with this and have any pointers or advice on how to talk to him about it?
