Who likes listening to the radio?

 I cant seem to settle on a radio station. Maybe I can see how long I stay with radio 6, goodish music and no adverts( pure heaven maybe). Then my others are radio sussex, world service but get bored with these easily. I'm autistic and have adhd also and find my over active mind so frustrating. Regards

  • I find that if I can't sleep in the early hours, BBC World Service Radio (on the same frequency as BBC Radio Four) will put me out like a light. 

    Like. A. Light.

    I've heard the beginning of s-o-o-o many World Service programmes, and the end of none of them. 

    For that reason, World Service is one of my favourite stations. (Have to be careful not to switch on before Radio Four has closed down for the night ... 'Sailing By', the music played to allow ships to tune-in accurately before the Shipping Forecast, is a real trigger for depression, for me.)

    Incidentally, vintage Westerns will do the same in the afternoons.  I work odd hours, sometimes, and occasionally need to catch up on sleep in the day.  Again, I've seen the first 10-15 minutes of almost every Western you can imagine but I've no idea what happens afyer that(!)  

    Perhaps not quite what you were asking(!)
