Help/advise for moving out, who can help me?

I’m still living at home with my parents. I have tried to move out but rent is too expensive for me.

ive applied for a Council flat but I’ve been refused 3 times now. I’ve been told I would need to make myself homeless, and put into a hostel which would make it easier for me to get a flat.

another problem is I don’t wanna move far from home or work.
the council doesn’t wanna help and doesn’t understand my needs.

im very thankful that I have a roof right now but I never get peace. I need space and being around this many people really gets to me now

  • Hi, not sure whereabouts you live but there are often local housing associations that might be able to help. I’d also recommend trying to find a support worker if you can, they should be able to help too. If you Google ‘housing associations near me’ & the same for support workers you may be able to find something! You can also apply for housing benefit to help with rent costs depending on your income, https://www.gov.uk/housing-benefit hope this helps a little
