I've learned, over the past few years, never to expect too much of others. Expectations are resentments waiting to happen.
I expected too much of Elected Representatives, and in the end I got my fingers burned. The reality is that consent can be manufactured; look what happened since 2001. While, grief and trauma are perfect weapons in order to keep people indebted to the TV. Some people only know life as a Warzone.
We no longer have a sense of right or wrong; just right and left.
