I dropped my Apple watch in water. I'm very upset and don't know what to do. Any advice is appreciated.

It is water resistant, but not waterproof. For example, you may wear and use your watch during exercise (exposure to sweat is ok), in the rain, and while washing your hands. But it is better not to swim with it.
