  • The only good thing about NAS, for me, is the Communications magazine, which could actually be far better (most of it is made up of adverts and reports of glitzy parties and fundraising attempts), and the Asperger United, A very good Asperger run Newsletter. THere is also this forum, which is very therapeutic, and of course, the NAS helped deliver the Autism Act. The website iself  is very comprehensive, so there are good parts, BUT, and it is an important but, the NAS does not really cater for adults with Aspergers. The help line is a joke. I think it was better when I phoned in the past, but I seriously felt fobbed off the last time I phoned. So I can understand the anger you both feel because society does not really provide for people with Aspergers, and the NAS should do something. If it cannot, then maybe a seperate National Asperger Society should be formed, that does respond to our needs.

  • And the gravy train can't run a decent call centre with 1.5 million funding ae mentioned on corporate page.
