Pooing on the floor

We go for a bath at 6ish. her and her brother share a room. They then have tv and tablets for a hour or so then its switched off and sleep time. 

She generally poos during he time she has tv and tablet  

She doesnt talk much.  Only says one or 2 words she doesnt string sentences togther yet.

This - although really tough for parents to manage! - is actually not uncommon for a child of 3 and a half, Autistic or not. We once had a child of 6 at school who would deliberately soil herself. She was neurotypical but found it hard to express herself for other reasons (there were things going on at home). Perhaps ask if there's anything she'd like to chat about? I mean, I don't know, but it sounds like she's maybe feeling the pressure to be clean during the day and wants to be cared for and cleaned up after at night. It sounds like she gets plenty of attention from what you've said, but at bedtime all kids can feel vulnerable, whether they're used to getting their parents' focus or not. What's your bedtime routine like?

Oh yes I'm aware. U worked in care for many years so have had my fair share 

Shes compelty potty trained so unsure why she does it on an evening. 

I have been telling her off but after reading on a few websites not to do so because it could negatively reinforce her behaviour tonight I have not shouted and just calmly said it's not acceptable and cleaned her up. Hopefully this helps her not gain the attention she wants 

The only positive contribution I can make to this thread, is to say, only three and a half years old, she will grow out of it.

Try coping with adults who pooing, peeing in odd places, or not flushing toilets as a method of annoying people.  Then you have real problems.

When my daughter was struggling with potty training my Mum found some leaflets from this charity at her school. https://www.eric.org.uk not sure if they can help? With my daughter it was a case of learning to recognise the sensation of needing go with plenty of time to get to the toilet or potty. Which is a bit harder in bed because gravity takes over when you stand up! Also how do you react to her doing it? Is it possible she’s enjoying being told off for it (if you are) or seeing it as a way to get you into her room at night instead of crying for you?

I'm not sure what to do  I go up regularly and ask if she needs the toilet. She had been twice yesturday so thought she wouldnt mess in the bedroom.

If anything my daughter gets more attention than me son most of the time.

Yes she has a potty in her room. Shes been in her room during the day and has used it so does understand 

Oh that sounds difficult! I only had one child so in a situation like this, I would simply sleep in the room and leave only momentarily until they felt secure enough to kick me out. 

I have come across something similar. It was caused by a rather domineering and extrovert older sibling monopolising the attention of the parents. It was a way for the child with the hygiene problem to get more time and individual attention from the parents while they were sorting out the mess.

Does she have a potty in her room?
