Home at last

Can not believe what has happened in the last month ,

I was facing an eviction from a private landlord and being taken of the social housing list after years of being on it ,

The day after posting on here in July i had a phone call from the local housing group and was offered sheltered accommodation , A one bed self contained flat,

Moving after 17years was intense as so much was going on  and now only just starting to get routines in place that were more like before .

I have to thank BLUE as his reply to my post gave me some insight to how the process begins .

Only trouble is the flat I have moved into has a reputation ,

Without naming - but it is in the public domain ! the previous occupant stabbed and killed someone who lived in an opposite block ,

He was stabbed in my flat but died in hospital , The accused died on remand of covid as the trial was ongoing .

The residents have a memorial bench for the person that was killed as he was a liked member of the community ,

Trouble is my social anxiety makes me think I am being associated with the murderer and I see everyone looking at me when I enter the block ,

How do I approach them without offending them , Or should I ?
