does anyone have a special interest in pigs?

hi,

i was diagnosed a couple of days ago and i am quite surprised by the number of things I have in common with a lot of autistic people. I haven't found anyone with a special interest in pigs yet though which is a shame. Another special interest of mine is registration plates and soap operas (only Emmerdale, Corrie, EastEnders and Hollyoaks though)

Hi!! I know it's been years but are pigs still your special interest? I got diagnosed last week and feel similarly. My parents started fostering pigs last year and I struggle to find anyone else who is as interested in them as me. I bore so many people talking about them

very wise they require quite a bit of looking after ---- and their are extra laws which only apply to pigs ---- so they are nt just like a dog in that respect

same goes for pet chickens ( i had 7 once ). if there is a disease outbreak u have to keep your birds inside.

I read about that a while ago, it's a shame the bloke died. i would still take the risk though because i love pigs and to be fair, things like that don't happen very often.

i memorise my teachers registration plates (they are cool with it). i like the patterns too, it just makes sense. i don't know why pigs, i have always liked pigs, they are really intelligent animals.

I used to see a pet pig in a garden from the bus, it wasa joy to see such a happy, contented, well looked after animal, I found that it had its own Facebook page:

I used to memorise car registration plates and I have some on my bedroom wall. I really like the patterns. Why pigs as an intense interest?
