  • Only in as far as I'd rather they didn't come into my home! I won't kill a spider, I just catch them and release them outside, but if only they'd get the hint and keep out! Lol!

  • lol yeah thats fair! im kinda scared of them (not all tho) so sometimes I dont rlly want them in my house either. but most of the time Im fine with them being there and even give them names lol

  • I used to be terrified of them when I was younger (a traumatic experience when I was 5 concerning what was, to me at the time, a massive arachnid!), but taking up camping and outdoor pursuits cured me. My grandchildren like me to 'talk' things, everything from the moon, to my car, to soft toys, to animals (especially my dog), to spiders! Lol! They'll say, "Talk Ford" (my car) and I then talk to them as if the car is talking to them. To try and make sure they didn't become afraid of bugs, I did the same thing. If we see a spider in the corner of the room, it will start "talking" for them to the kids, and the kids answer back! Lol! The first question they ask is always, "What's your name?". We've had the common Fred's and George's, and Matilda, Rosemary, Isaac, Wolfgang, everything! Lol!

  • That wouldn't surprise me. I used to be scared of them many years ago but I managed to overcome my fear before having my kids, so they didn't pick up a fear of spiders from me (and their dad definitely wasn't scared of them!). My daughter was still terrified of them though! She's better now, as an adult, and can catch them and chuck them out, but as a child she'd freak right out.
