Are the any legal restrictions for autistic people, other than not being able to join the army?

There was a poster up in my local library in 2019, saying that diagnosed people could be sectioned. I was a bit concerned about that, but I don't know how true it is. Would like to hear other opinions on this.

no i would say thats not true - remember a Doctor would have to justify any sectioning.

For me, it's not about shame, it's a matter of freedom. If that poster is correct that doctors can basically sign your rights away more easily than most people, then that is very concerning. I hope it isn't true.
