To quote someone's message, first select/highlight the relevant text, and then use the Quote button that appears
To "mention" someone, type @ followed by the start of the forum name, and choose from the list; that person will get a notification of being mentioned

My son can speak single words and is learning.

For example if I asked what is this (pointing to the hose) he can say hose.

If he can do this and is learning more words, what's the chances he will eventually speak having conversations etc

Or could this be as far as his communication may go

So get onto your GP and get him referred to a speech therapist if you are really concerned.

He is 4. He's now beginning to recognise words when I spell them which is great.

Yed no one can give me the answer just say we couldn't say as every child is different but because he has words that's always a good sign
