Embarrassing childhood movie crushes

Has anyone had embarrassing crushes on cartoon/movie characters as a child/young teenager?

As a child, I had a massive thing for Jafar from Disney's Aladdin, lol. The Jafar fantasy carried on for quite a while when I was a teenager. My friends take the piss out of me for it, and I don't blame them! I also had a thing for Hades from Hercules. No accounting for taste!

As an older teenager, I developed a vampire obsession, and had a thing for Lestat from 'Queen of the Damned' and Gary Oldman as Dracula... oh dear haha

What are yours?

Anyway I should stop procrastinating on here and get on with my college work...

  • Probably loads of TV characters. Loads from soaps. Looking back, I realise how much I loved both sexes. Faith from the Buffy series is one character that springs to mind as I was talking about Buffy the other day with a friend.

    Quite often, it's been hard to know if I was attracted to the character or that I wanted to live as the character.

    In American Beauty, I was attracted to Jane. But, now older, I find my way of being is not all that dissimilar to Angela [once she lets her guard down] (who I think, if one looks closely, is possibly the nicest character in the film).

    I'm not sure these count as embarrassing though, but maybe that's because I feel all people need some love from someone Couple ww
