New to this site.
Just wanted to start a light hearted discussion to get your views.
Some take offence to one or the other so I am wondering...
Do you prefer the term Autistic Adult or Adult with Autism?
Why do you feel this way?
Or are you not bothered?
I use the terms "on the spectrum" or "on the autism spectrum" which are the ones which I feel most comfortable with. Happy for folk to use other terms (and they do) as long as they're not derogatory.
I try and make an effort not to get too hung up on the specifics in day to day conversation. Life's confusing enough as it is and there's a lot for people to remember.
